We felt a rapid quake when the 6+ hit at the "beginning" of activity offshore of Big Island, here in Haiku Maui.. But no effects through all this swarm. Just a little on the ground nearby feedback reflection 🙏

TEM, you explained a little bit about the "rotating globe of geologic doom" as I like to call it, last night. Specifically the higher the spikes the deeper the quake, which in retrospect makes sense. Is there a definitions page or video that explains the rest? Also, is there a list of useful reference sites for all this stuff, in the event we get cut off by an Alexis Carrington* event? There are several I'm familiar with: usgs, spaceweather, windy, etc. also I'd be happy to add some of the ones I use, like the ADSB plane tracking ones we were using checking the CalFire aircraft dumping suppressant the other week. I've got a hunch things are fixin to get more active, especially with solar drivers and a potentially (?) weakening magnetic field 🌞 🧲 🌎 *Alexis Carrington was a mischievous femme fatale in the 1980's TV series 'Dynasty' portrayed by the timeless Joan Collins.
